The Feminine Leader
The Feminine Leader is a leader who embraces their differences, and leads with courage and conviction – both in who they are and what they stand for. The Feminine Leader enrols those around them in change initiatives and works adaptively to react quickly to changing circumstances. Critically, The Feminine Leader works inclusively and with strength. As The Feminine Leader is a leader who embraces who they are and uses that to lead more effectively, by giving of their genuine selves, the exact form varies from person to person. What is common to all, though, is that by being clear on their values and their strengths and weaknesses, they are able to effectively lead teams in a way that is productive, profitable and sustainable.
The Feminine Leader should not be confused with feminism. Whilst feminism is a very important issue, as is gender, pay equality and associated issues, that is not at the core of our philosophy. Our philosophy revolves around making it OK for female leaders to present themselves in a way that does not conform with traditional views of what a leader or executive is, and includes feminine attributes in order to be more effective and avoid values conflicts.
This book illustrates the overall Feminine Leader model, and then dives deeper into each of the core units. The book shall examine anecdotal and empirical evidence to support the theory, and provide practical tools for implementation.
